Hi there! My name is Melissa and I started this blog to have a fun place to talk about my little household adventures. I enjoy experimenting in the kitchen and occasionally a diy project...sometimes they work and sometimes they don't, but I'm always honest. When I'm not in the kitchen, I'm taking care of my sweet baby boy, Ayden. He really is my whole world...he's the best 'helper.' Ayden's daddy and my darling husband is Aaron, who is a very tolerant guinea pig when it comes to my ridiculousness. He's always tried what I cook and given me constructive criticism. He and I have an agreement...I cook all the meals (unless it's on the grill) and he handles anything that plugs in. Sounded like a good deal to me, and it's paid off so far!

Also in our busy home we have THREE dogs. I know, I must be crazy! We have two doxies...Mini , and Cappie (who follows Ayden and I wherever we go), and Kahlua, our 5 month old Great Dane. Mini and Cappie made themselves a permanent spot just outside the kitchen...it's like having a roomba that doesn't require power!
Outside our home, we have a loving family who has been an incredible source of encouragement, wisdom, and free babysitting. We are so blessed to have all of them! We've also got an awesome group of friends who I'm sure you'll hear something about from time to time as well.
